McKenzie, Tenn.–McKenzie’s Sweet Tea Festival ended with a light show–from a fireworks display enjoyed while the band DEK of Hearts performed from the main stage.
During the four-day festival, Broadway was abuzz with a carnival, car show, live music, shopping, good food, theatre, vendors, and more. And yes, there was a Sweet Tea taste-off.
Festival organizers said, “What a wonderful few days it has been! Thank you to everyone who came out, brought your family and friends, and helped make the 2026 McKenzie Sweet Tea Festival such a fun celebration of our community!
“A BIG thank you to our vendors, sponsors, volunteers, City of McKenzie staff, Carroll Arts, Bethel University Renaissance Bluegrass, Vonda Peet & Company, DEK of Hearts, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the festival possible.
“And most of all, THANK YOU to everyone who showed up! Whether you joined us for one event or spent the whole weekend with us, YOU are what makes the Sweet Tea Festival so special.”
