Cottage Grove, Tenn.–A Kentucky woman who was found hiding inside a Cottage Grove home was charged with aggravated burglary by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.

Sandy L. Wood, age 48, of Dexter, Ky., was arrested by Cpl. David Andrews Monday morning and was held in the Henry County Jail on $10,000 bond.

The sheriff’s office was called to the home by the homeowner who saw a partially hidden vehicle behind his shed and that the back door of his house was open. In a call to dispatch, Andrews determined the vehicle, which had Ohio plates, was a rental car.

The homeowner told Andrews that boxes had been moved around inside the home, with boxes of items placed by the front door and items boxed upstairs. Other items from the house were found inside the rental car.

Wood was found hiding inside the house.
