
Big Sandy, Tenn.–Joseph Martindale Joyner is wanted by the Big Sandy Police Department for questioning regarding an incident that occurred in Big Sandy on Saturday in which Joyner is accused of crashing a motorcycle during a police chase and then fled on foot from police.
On the afternoon of Saturday, September 26, the Big Sandy Police were in pursuit of a silver and black BMW motorcycle, which crashed off the road at 7720 Lick Creek Rd. The rider then fled on foot into a wood line and evaded arrest.
Big Sandy Police searched the motorcycle and found over 13 grams of methamphetamine and other drugs. Joyner is the primary suspect in this incident and his license shows he is a Big Sandy resident.
According to a Facebook post by Mayor Autumn Ratliff, he currently on Community Corrections and has multiple felony convictions for drug trafficking. Records also show suspect he is currently wanted in both Carroll & Benton County for multiple felony warrants involving drug trafficking, vehicle theft, and domestic assault.

If this individual is seen, please call 911 immediately and do not approach the suspect as he is considered a dangerous felon.
