Paris, Tenn.–A truck stolen from a Henry County business over the weekend was found in a field in Calloway County Monday. Since then, the truck has disappeared from the field.
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who may be able to shed some light on the incident. The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office has released a surveillance photo of the man.
The truck is a 2013 Dodge Ram 150, gray in color.
According to the report at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, someone had left their truck at Denton’s Towing for repair. The truck owner said he was contacted by Calloway County deputies who informed him his truck was parked in a field since Monday.
The owner of Denton’s Towing checked his security tape and observed the truck being driven off the lot around 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
Meanwhile, deputies at Calloway County reported that the owner of the field said someone had pulled the truck from the field and took it away around 6 a.m. Wednesday. They said they had a possible video of the suspects.
