Big Sandy, Tenn.–Improvements are being made to the Big Sandy Park in memory of the late Sonny Melton, thanks to monies from Benton County. County Mayor Brett Lashlee on Tuesday presented a check for $30,000 to Big Sandy Mayor Autumn Ratliff for the park project. Also in attendance at the presentation–held at City Hall–were Big Sandy Alderman Jason Dobson and County Commissioners Ronnie Hopper and Mary Powers.
