Dukedom, Ky.–U.S. Marshals have arrested a fugitive wanted for an attempted murder in Weakley County.
Today, members of the U.S. Marshals’ Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force took Joseph Brown into custody. He was wanted by the Weakley County Sheriff’s Office for attempted first degree murder of Tyler Forrester on October 24.
Investigators said Brown shot Forrester with a 12 guage shotgun near downtown Dukedom and fled into Kentucky. He was located by the U.S. Marshals in Russellville, Ky.
He will be extradited to Tennessee to face the charges.
