Paris, Tenn.–A four-year-old boy died after the car in which he was a passenger crashed into a tree Saturday night on Memorial Drive in Paris. The driver of the vehicle was airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol report is not yet complete, but according to Paris Police, the little boy, Kenneth Lloyd was riding in a Chevy Cobalt driven by Jessica Lloyd, age 38. Both are listed as living on Washington Court in Paris.
The car collided into a tree at 1209 Memorial Drive. The little boy had been strapped into his booser seat and was transported to Henry County Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
According to Paris Police, Jessica Lloyd was extricated from the car by the Paris Fire Department; they cut out the driver’s side door in order to remove her from the vehicle.
She was transported to HCMC and then airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center.
