Paris Couple Arrested On Drug Charges, Child Abuse

Paris, Tenn.–A Paris couple has been charged by the Metro Crime Unit with drug charges and aggravated child abuse and neglect.
According to a press release issued by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday, February 28,2021, the Metro Crime Unit, Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Paris Police Department executed a search warrant at 1315 East Wood Street in Paris. Officers located marijuana, drug paraphernalia and appropriately an ounce of methamphetamine.
Billy W. Stewart and Angel Bach were both arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell, Simple Possession of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Due to a minor child of age 8 or under being present, Stewart and Bach were both additionally charged with Aggravated Child Abuse and Neglect.
Both Stewart and Bach remain in jail under $50,000.00 bonds each and are set to appear in General Sessions Court on March 16.
