Union City Energy To Increase Broadband Speeds

Union City, Tenn.–Effective April 1, all commercial broadband customers will see internet speeds increased to the next available speed while keeping the monthly cost the same.

Kyle Ross, Vice President of the organization, said “The Energy Board has approved this move.   We are always looking for ways to provide better service while maintaining fair rates.   Upgrading speeds while holding prices is one way we can do this.”

Ross also noted some residential customers’ broadband rates will also be lowered during this time.  “We are lowering the price of our residential Gig internet from $99 to $75 to allow those customers that need the additional bandwidth to enjoy the benefits of the extra speed at a lower cost.

“This is one way we can say thank you for all these customers that use our service.  The response from customers for this new service has been overwhelming.  The all fiber optic network has proven to be an extremely reliable and competitive service we can provide,” Ross said.

Commercial customers should see the new speed change on their bills starting in April.
