Paris Officers Graduate From State Law Enforcement Academy

coltin-wyrick

Paris, Tenn.–The City of Paris Police Department is congratulating two Tennessee Law Enforcement Academy Class #1919 graduates: Patrolman Coltin Wyrick and Patrolman Steven Richardson.
Both were graduated March 25th, 2021 from the Law Enforcement Academy in Donelson TN. They attended and graduated under COVID restrictions without family and friends there to share this proud moment.
Ptl. Wyrick is a ‘hometown boy’, a 2014 graduate of Henry County High School and a graduate of the University Tennessee at Martin with a degree in Criminal Justice. He is married to Raven Wyrick. Although he has only been with the department for a short time, Coltin is no stranger to law enforcement. He worked at the Henry County Sheriff’s Department under Sheriff Monte Belew. And his father, Scott Wyrick, is the Chief Deputy for Henry County.
Ptl. Richardson is a graduate of Spain Park High School in Hoover, Alabama and an Austin Peay State University graduate, with a business degree. He is married to Cassie and they have three children and are expecting their fourth.
Once again, Blake is new to the department, but comes to the City with ten years of experience in law enforcement while serving in the Army.
Chief of Police Ricky Watson said, “We are so proud of both of these officers for their accomplishments!” We are pleased they are now a part of the PPD family and wish the best for them in their future careers with the City of Paris. If you happen to see these Officers out, congratulate them and show them why we love Paris, TN so much!”
