Steady Progress At The Lodge At Paris Landing

By Shannon McFarlin News Director

Buchanan, Tenn.–Construction at The Lodge at Paris Landing is progressing rapidly– and looking good–as shown from these views taken from the water by Vicky Sinclair of Paris.

Once completed, each room and suite will have a scenic view of the water. The project is still on target for completion by the fall of 2021.

The facility will feature a dining area, swimming pool, fire pits, suites and more.

As we previously reported, state and Henry County officials, Doster Construction supervisors and construction workers gathered earlier this month for a “topping off ceremony”, which commemorates the placement of the final steel beam atop the structure. The ceremony also signifies that the workers can now begin on the interior, which they have been doing every available working day since.

“This will be really great and will have a tremendous economic impact on Henry County,” Paris-Henry County Chamber CEO Travis McLeese said. “It will include suites, which the former Inn did not have. And we can accommodate all types of events here. There will be conference rooms here that will allow us to host state conferences here. The Lodge will have an economic impact like it never was before. It really gave us chills to see everything it has to offer.”
