Murray To Close Section Of Main Street For Parade Saturday

The City of Murray plans to close a section of KY 94/Main Street in Downtown Murray on Saturday morning, July 3, 2021.

KY 94/Main Street will be closed between U.S. 641/North 12th Street and KY 2594/Industrial Road starting promptly at 7 a.m., CDT, Saturday, for the Freedom Fest Parade.  The roadway is expected to reopen to traffic around 11 a.m., CDT, Saturday.

There will be no marked detour.  Motorists may self-detour via U.S. 641/North 12th Street, U.S. 641-Business/Chestnut Street and KY 2594/Industrial Road.

The Murray Police Department and Calloway County Sheriff’s Department will provide traffic control during the event.
