
Paris, Tenn.–Henry County Sheriff Josh Frey has announced the appointment of Deputy Jason McCord as the county’s new Animal Control Officer. He will be replacing Deputy John McElroy who previously held the position.
Frey said Deputy McCord’s duties will be to answer animal complaints and to handle the day to day operations at the animal shelter.
The shelter is still open Monday- Friday and Deputy McCord being at the shelter with the exception of when he’s out on a call. You can reach Deputy McCord at 642-1672 if he happens to be away from the shelter.
As in times past there will be adoption fees associated with the dogs.
