Patriots Fall To 0-2 On Season With Loss To Beech

Hendersonville, Tenn.–The Henry County Patriots dropped their second game of the season Friday night 17 to 7 to Beech High School in Hendersonville.  Neither team scored in the first quarter of play but the Buccaneers put up a touchdown and extra point with 6:46 to go in the half to lead 7-0.  Beech would add a second touchdown run of 5 yards and convert the extra point to lead 14-7 at half time.  Beech converted a field goal from 32 yards out in the third to lead 17 to 0.  Ryan Damron would run for 7 yards and a touchdown with under two minutes to go in the game.  Gavin Lindsey was successful on the point after kick.  The final score would end up 17-7.  Henry County would only get 226 yards offense in the game while Beech would get 331.

The Patriots will host Kenwood next week at Patriot Stadium.
