
Dover, Tenn.–Stewart County Schools will be closed starting tomorrow, from Wednesday September 1 through Tuesday, September 7, due to the high number of positive COVID cases and quarantines in the system.
Director of Schools Mike Craig said there are some 600 students out of school right now either due to positive COVID tests or from being on quarantine.
Monday, September 6, is the Labor Day holiday and school was already set to be closed that day.
