Paris, Tenn.–Plans are in the works to relocate an investment company, open a branch of the Holley Credit Union and open a restaurant near the corner of East Wood Street and Fairgrounds Road.

Workers have been busy demolishing the former car dealership/repair shop and house at the site since Thursday and have levelled off the space.

Owner Jamie Orr told RadioNWTN he will be constructing a two-story commercial structure at the site which will have room for three businesses.

He said he will be relocating his investment firm there and Holley Credit Union will be locating a full-service branch with ATM and drive-through.

Additionally, Orr is working with the Paris-Henry County Industrial Committee and the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce to locate a restaurant in the third space.

Orr said plans are for the Holley Credit Union to locate in the space nearest to East Wood Clinic, with Orr’s investment firm in the middle section and the restaurant in the space nearest to the East Wood Street and Fairgrounds Road intersection.

“We’re looking for a nice sit-down restaurant to locate there,” Orr said.

He said he intends to present the plans to the Paris Municipal Regional Planning Commission at its October meeting.
