Paris, Tenn.–This year’s Spooktacular was certainly Spectacular, with some 4,000 people on hand at Eiffel Tower Park for the festivities. This was the first year for the event to be held at Eiffel Tower Park after it out-grew downtown Paris.
Every part of the park was utilized with costume contests on the Eiffel Tower stage, short plays performed by the KPAC Young Artists on the Fantasy Land trail; dozens of local businesses and law enforcement in a Trunk or Treat area; Monster Dance in the large pavillion; lots of spooky scares on the Spooky Trail and more.
KPAC Director Rhonda Stanton said, “People enjoyed the Fantasy Land trail, the puppet show, the Monster Dance…There was so much we’ve had good feedback on. We’ll have to sit down and decide what worked and what didn’t work and make everything even better for next year.”
The event was sponsored this year by the city of Paris’ Parks and Recreation Department and KPAC.
