Union City, Tenn.–Selected students from both the third and fourth grades at Union City Elementary School spent the day at Discovery Park of America recently after being chosen as Discovery Kids as part of the school’s reward program.
Eleven third graders and ten more from the fourth grade were honored for demonstrating excellent behavior and character for the second nine weeks of the 2021-22 school year. Each student was nominated for the honor by their respective classroom teachers.
Students wore purple UCES shirts to DPA to show their Tornado Pride and explored the park’s many different exhibits and features during their day-long visit.
