Henry County Helping Hand Auction Now At $98,286

Paris, Tenn.–The $100,000 mark is in sight. The grand total raised in the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at $98,286.

A total $4,354 was raised Thursday by the Puryear community, Harrelson Beta Club, Office on Aging, Northwest Nutrition.

Friday’s items will be donated by the Clifty community, Paris-Henry County Rescue Squad, Relay for Life and Henry County CASA.

Looking ahead to Saturday, items will be donated by the Whitlock community.

The annual auction started on Monday and will continue through March 2, raising funds for over 80 local non-profit and service organizations.

Photos of items that are donated each day are posted on the “Henry County Helping Hand” Facebook page. Anyone who wants to bid on any item can describe the item or give the number of the item as posted on the Facebook page.

The auction is broadcast daily over WTPR 101.7 FM and 710 AM at 12:30 p.m. You can also listen on our website at www.radionwtn.com, where it is live streamed.
