John Michael “Mike” Mann

John Michael “Mike” Mann, 59, of Paris, Tennessee, died at his residence Wednesday, February 1, 2023.

Mike was born Monday, February 18, 1963, in Henry County, Tennessee, to the late John T. Mann and the late Janice “Bitty” Maxedon Mann.

He retired from Milan Express after many years as a logistics coordinator.  

He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Paris.  

He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Mike enjoyed his friends and times at Jack’s Pool Room where he was known as “Candy-Man.”  

He enjoyed motorcycles, boating, fishing, and playing the guitar.

He was married Saturday, December 6, 1986, to Jamie Spicer Mann, who survives, of Paris.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by one daughter: Amy (Michael) Williams, of Paris; one son: Matt Mann, of Paris; his mother-in-law: Betty Noss, of Paris; three grandchildren: Madison Williams, Bailey Williams, and Jackson Williams, all of Paris; his special friend who was like a brother: James “Jim” Travis, of Knoxville, Tennessee; and a large extended family.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tennessee.  Memorial visitation will be Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Rev. Joy Weathersbee & Cliff Evans officiating. 

Named as honorary pallbearers are James “Jim” Travis, Mike’s friends at Jack’s Pool Room and his Kentucky Lake friends.

Burial of cremains will be in Palestine Cemetery in Paris, Tennessee.
