Rudolph Francis Urban, Jr. (Rudy), 87, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Dover Care Center while under hospice care.

Rudy was born Tuesday, July 23,1935, in Baltimore, Maryland, to his parents, Rudolph Francis Urban and Emma Urban/Zeitschel (Windesheim).

He was pre-deceased by his wife: Marcella Fay Urban (Gray) and is survived by four children: Michael Urban and his wife Denise (Zubalik); Mark Urban and his partner Terri Beil; Rudolph F. Urban III; and Brandy Page and her husband Aaron.

Rudy is also survived by his siblings: Charles Urban, Sylvester (Mux) Urban, Jesse Urban, and Melva Sunday.

He is pre-deceased by his brother: George Dahle Urban and survived by his grandchildren: Erik Urban, Adam Urban, Amanda Sieler, Emma Lee Warfield, and Anna Kate Page as well as eight great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. Rudy attended Baltimore City College High School and was a veteran of the United States Air Force as an Air Policemen during the Korean War while stationed at Thule Air Base, Greenland.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023, beginning at 12:00 p.m. and continue until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, Tennessee.

A Catholic Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date (to be announced later) at St. Stephen Bradshaw Catholic Church, 8030 Bradshaw Rd, Kingsville, Maryland 21087. A private interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery in Parkville, Maryland.
