Ms. Martha Jane Andrews, 79, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Houston County Community Hospital.
She was born in Paris, Tennessee, Thursday, January 20, 1944, the beloved daughter of the late James Hoffman and Clella Mae Dougherty Hedges.
Martha was a hard worker and dedicated to her work and those she served. She retired from Austin Peay State University and Workforce Essentials as a Computer Analyst. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother: James Bryant Hedges.
She leaves behind those that she loved dearly, sons: Thomas E. Andrews, III (Starr), of Dover, Tennessee, James M. Andrews (Emily), of Dover, Tennessee, grandsons: Tristin, Connor, William and Nathaniel Andrews.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of memorials, the family request that donations be made in memory of their mother to St. Jude’s or the charity of your choice.
