Paris, Tenn.–The four-day Tennessee River Jam is over and organizers say it was an unqualified success, with large crowds at all the events, great music, great weather and great music. Some 2,000 people crowded downtown Paris for the kick-off event Thursday night, with 3,500 in attendance at the main event at Paris Landing State Park Friday evening, according to Paris-Henry County Chamber Director Rachel Steedly.
Large crowds were on hand to hear live music from some 22 performers at seven venues, including downtown Paris, Paris Landing State Park, Eiffel Tower Park, the Breakers, Blues Landing, Dew Drop Inn and the Crown Meeting and Event Center.
The first-ever Songwriters Night at the Crown Center was sold out and organizers foresee it becoming an annual event.
Interim Chamber Director Rachel Steedly said, “2023 Tennessee River Jam is in the books and was an overall success. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect and we had great attendance throughout. Our goal was to simplify things and bring Henry County a great weekend of music. We’ve heard nothing but positive feedback and truly could not ask for a better weekend. Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers and community for making this event successful!”
