Paris, Tenn.–The W.G. Rhea Library Summer Story Hour at the Atkins-Porter Botanical Garden started Monday, with Children’s Librarian Kayla Nation reading books about dogs. And there just happened to be a few little dogs enjoying the hour, along with children and parents. Nice breeze, rugs to sit on, fans going, colorful toys, kids learning how to take care of plants, good atmosphere. The free Story Hour is held at the Botanical Garden at 311 Jackson St. in Paris at 10:30 a.m. Monday June 12, 19 and 26. The Watchable Wildlife events are held Thursdays June 15-July 6.
