Motorcycle Stop Yields Meth In Backpack

Dover, Tenn.–A Dover motorcyclist was arrested on drug charges after meth was reportedly found in his backpack.
Sgt. Aaron Page stopped a motorcycle on Hwy. 79 after noticing the cycle did not have a license plate. Upon talking with the driver Sgt. Page said he appeared to be very nervous and he was found to be driving on a revoked license. After questioning the driver further he consented to a search of his backpack which turned up two bags of meth, folded paper with meth in it as well as approximately a dozen syringes, cut straws and used bags with meth residue.
Arrested was William Fortune, age 31, of Dover.
