
Dyer County, Tenn.–West Tennessee Drug Task Force agents obtained a search warrant for a room at the Quality Inn in Dyersburg pursuant to an investigation. Agents assisted by Dyer County Sheriff’s Office and Troopers from THP served the warrant on the room where a shoe box containing a stolen 9mm with an altered serial number, approximately 10 grams of suspected heroin, 3 grams of meth, 12 grams of suspected fentanyl, several pressed fentanyl pills, bags and a scale was seized. One male was taken into custody. The suspect has 18 prior felonies out of another state, to include homicide, drug smuggling, weapons offenses, drug offenses, stolen vehicles, robbery and burglary. The office of the District Attorney General, 29th Judicial District, Danny Goodman, Jr. Is prosecuting this case.
