Funeral Services for Darrell D. Taylor are Monday, June 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 25, at 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Monday 11:00 a.m. until service time. Following the service Mr. Taylor will be cremated.
Mr. Taylor, 57 years old, died Thursday, June 22, 2023, on the job in Big Cliff, KY. He is a truck driver at Dale Nelson’s Recycling McKenzie. He was born in Union City on March 24, 1967, to Kenneth Taylor and Joan Hopper Mebane.
He is survived by his wife Darlene Watson Taylor of Bradford, his parents Joan (Glynn) Mebane of Henry, Kenneth (Loretta Ann) Taylor of Dresden, three daughters Kayla ( Will) Little of McKenzie, Lisa Warren and Hope Mathis both of Bradford, two sons Justin (Elisha) Taylor of Benton, KY and Robert Mathis of Bradford, a sister Kaci (Scott) Bond of Chapel Hill, a brother Michael Taylor of Paris, seven grandchildren Sophie Taylor, Taylor Little, Jude Taylor, Scarlett O’Hara, Lucas Mathis, Wylie Little and Lilly Taylor.
