Local writer, historian, television host and song writer, Rick Revel be signing books Saturday July 15^th at The Ole Kuntry Mall in Paris from 1-4 PM.  Revel has spent the last 5 years researching and writing his first in hopefully a series of novels of the life of Captain Jack Hinson of neighboring Stewart County Civil War history.  Hinson, who tried to stay neutral as a business man and land owner in Dover, Stewart County.  Was pushed to far when Union Forces took the life of two of his sons.  Hinson would enter local lore with his exploits and accuracy with his sniper weapon, causing havic with union forces until the end of the war.  The public is invited to attend the book signing July 15^th from 1-4 PM at the Ole Kuntry Mall in the Kroger shopping center in Paris.
