Puryear, Tenn.–The Puryear Pack 226 has been working on something special for the community. The Bear Den has collected fuzzy socks, toboggans, gloves, throws, snacks, drinks and other supplies which they will be delivering to the Paris Cancer Center Wednesday afternoon. Cubmaster Tabitha Merrell said the Scouts put the bags together for the center to hand out to patients. “Scouts are servants to the community and if we can do little things like this to make someone’s day better, we’re all for it,” she said.
