Paris, Tenn.–The calm before the storm: Sheri Crosno and Alex Hassell were busy getting ready for the deluge of hundreds of kids and adults (while the Caring Bikers were getting ready in the background) on hand for the annual Spooktacular event hosted by the city of Paris Parks and Recreation Department Saturday. The event, held at the Eiffel Tower Park, included costume contests, spooky trail, Game Stop, Candy Stop (with plenty of organizations passing out candy), Halloween backdrops for photo ops. Not to mention a giant monster doing the twist in front of the Eiffel Tower and smashing Pumpkin Pete from the Paris BPU bucket truck. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
