Waterfowl Banded & Released At Wildlife Refuge

Springville, Tenn.–The Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge was happy once again to partner with Tennessee Tech University’s Cohen Wildlife Lab and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency to capture waterfowl for the Tennessee Mallard Project. The refuge is located in Springville in Henry County.
Ranger Joan Howe said 15 mallards, 10 gadwall and ine black duck were banded and outfitted with transmitters with around a hundred waterfowl banded total.
