A suspect in several charges involving sex abuse involving children and cruelty to animals was arrested in Union City. He waived extradition and was transported back to Graves County. He was arrested after a several-day search for him and upon receipt of a tip involving his whereabouts.
Brian W. Readenour, age 47, of Graves County was served with several outstanding arrest warrants that were obtained after multiple investigations by the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.
He has been formally charged with the following:
1.) Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration
2.) Sex Offender Electronic Communications Violations
3.) Unlawful Transaction with a Minor 1st Degree
4.) Sexual Abuse 1st Degree of a child
5.) Sodomy 2nd Degree of a child
6.) Procuring or Promoting Use of Minor by Electronic Means
7.) Warrant from Ky Parole Board charging Violations of Convicted Sex Offender
8.) Cruelty to Animals 2nd Degree
After processing, the suspect was transported to an out of county detention center.
