Nashville, Tenn.–There was a great turnout from the former Webb School in McKenzie at Wednesday’s meeting of the Tennessee Historical Commission. The alumni from the school are advocating for its admission to the National Register of Historic Places. A museum honoring the school’s history opened in 2016, and commission members said, “We loved their museum shirts featuring the Tennessee Historical Commission marker placed at the site!” All nominations moved forward to the National Park Service for final approval to the National Register.
