
Paris, Tenn.–With the $5,616 raised today, the year-t0-date total is now at $209,143 for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction. Today’s items were donated by Walmart, Covenant Ranch, New Wave Buddy Ball, Plus, and Tennessee Valley Board of Realtors.
Auctioneer was Andy Collins, with the Paris Lions Club members manning the phones.
On Thursday, items will be donated by Fairview Baptist Church, HCHS Speech Team, HCHS Swim Team and the Atkins-Porter Neighborhood. Auctioneer Thursday will be Jamie Orr.
Friday’s items will be donated by the Paris Soccer Club, Henry Co. Cemetery Committee, Henry County Archives, Henry Co. Genealogical Society and the Henry Co. Chamber Music Society.
Saturday will be an especially big day, with the First Baptist Church having both a day-time and night-time auction.

Helping Hand runs from January 8 through February 28 and raises thousands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit and public service organizations. Last year was a banner year, with a record-setting $519,630 raised.
