Mrs. Irene Eaton, 92, died Sunday, February 25, 2024, at her residence.
She was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee, Monday, August 31, 1931, to Hyder and Pauline Comer Ham.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years: Vance Eaton; daughter: Mary Melton; sisters: Judy Lee, Martha Mitchell, and Rosie Sanders; and brothers: OC Ham, John Ham, and Willard Ham.
She is survived by her children: Larry (Betty) Eaton, Ricky (Cathy) Eaton, Tim (Michelle), all of McKenzie, Ronnie (Debbie) Eaton, of Milan, Joey (Jhanettia) Eaton, of Tennessee City, Darla (Mike) Hicks, of Chesapeake Bay, Virginia, and Melissa Moore, of McKenzie; brother: Elmer (Effie) Ham, of Dyersburg; 16 grandchildren: Jonathan (Anna) Eaton, Cari House, Eric Eaton, Alex Eaton, Michael (Jessica) Eaton, Matthew (Hailee) Eaton, Zachary Champion, Ryan Eaton, Jason (Anna) Eaton, Nichole (John) McKinney, Greg Eaton, Angela Fowler, Kristen Dienst, Colton (Cari Gean) Moore, Kyle Moore, and Brenda (Roger) Christian; 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service for Irene Eaton is Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, 11:00 a.m. – service time.
Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery.
