Paris, Tenn.–A large crowd was at the fairgrounds for the Eiffel Tower Classic Livestock Show Saturday for the first try out of the new Livestock Barn at the Henry County Fairgrounds. Sponsored by the Junior Livestock Association, the Livestock Show is a Tennessee Top Tier Open Show and it drew entries from all over, with 88 heifers, 25 steers, 80 exhibitors. Everybody seemed to like the new Livestock Barn, which is an open-air building. Fair Board Spokesperson Michelle Hopkins said there still a bit more work to complete the new barn, which is 80 x 200 in size. There’s still some electrical work that needs to be done and new bleachers that are arriving. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
