October, often referred to as “Pink October,” is a time when pink ribbons and themed initiatives help raise awareness about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis. Routine screenings remain one of the most effective tools in the fight against breast cancer.
West Tennessee Hospital-Henry County Hospital encourages all women to contact their primary care or gynecological provider to schedule a mammogram. Providers will issue the necessary referral for screening at the Diagnostic Center.
