BUCHANAN, Tenn. – Bethel freshmen Peyton Anderson and Logan Bishop finish in top ten this past weekend during the ACA Big Bass Bash presented by Berkley.
With over six hundred and thirty anglers from schools and universities from all across America competing in this event, the Bethel team was able to hold solid with a big largemouth bass weighing in at just under six pounds caught by Anderson.
Coach Garry Mason explained that this ninth place finish won the Bethel squad several prizes and a berth to the ACA National Championship to be held next summer. “ We are very proud of the performance of our whole team and especially our freshman anglers who competed at a very high level and proved that they can help to continue the legacy here at Bethel in fishing sports.”
The Bethel Bass team will head to Florence, Alabama in a couple of weeks to compete in the first Major League Fishing event for the year on Pickwick Lake.
