Jackson, Tenn.–Lt. David Andrews with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division was sworn in at the United States Marshals Office in Jackson today. In photo, he is being congratulated by U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller.
Lt. Andrews will be joining the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Nashville-Jackson Resident Agency Child Exploitation Task Force. Lt. Andrews has been working child exploitation cases with FBI SA Eric McCraw for the last five years and has assisted in investigating numerous predators and pedophiles that seek to exploit children in Henry County.
Lt. Andrews has successfully prosecuted these offenders in state and federal court.
Sheriff Josh Frey and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office is fully committed to protecting our children from sexual exploitation and having Lt. Andrews on this task force is going to allow him to do even more.
Lt. Andrews will still be working cases at the Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office but with a further reach when it comes to investigating, apprehending and prosecuting these sexual exploitation offenders in Federal Court.
