Paris, Tenn.–On the remaining charges pending against him, Travis McLeese was sentenced today to jail time, unsupervised probation and lose his license for a year.
McLeese is the former Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce Director and appeared today in Henry County General Sessions Court on charges of DUI, implied consent and speeding.
He pleaded guilty to DUI and the other two charges were dismissed.
The sentence of 11 months and 29 days was suspended to 48 hours at 100 percent and credit for time served to be determined. He was placed on unsupervised probation and cannot drive in Tennessee for a year. Judge Vicki Snyder was the judge in today’s hearing.
In a hearing in Circuit Court in September, Judge Bruce Griffey sentenced McLeese to serve two years each at 100 percent time served on the two charges of sexual battery and sentenced him to serve 11 months, 29 days on the count of purchasing alcohol for a minor. They are to be served concurrently. He also was placed on the sex offender registry and was given credit for time served.
At both hearings, Daniel Taylor was the attorney for McLeese and Morgan Greer was the Assistant District Attorney.
