Paris and Union City, Tenn.–Citizens in Paris and Union City participated in today’s “No Kings” rallies which saw millions gather in 2,500 demonstrations all across the United States, with some even held overseas. The rallies were held in major cities and small, rural towns. An estimated 400 citizens gathered in Paris at the Henry County Courthouse, while citizens from Obion and Weakley Counties gathered on 2nd Street in Union City. No estimates of the number participating have been released for the Union City gathering. Both rallies were reported peaceful.
