The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center is proud to announce that acclaimed country troubadour Larry Fleet will take the stage on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 7:30 PM, in a special performance with support from the band DASHER.
A Tennessee-born singer-songwriter with deep blue-collar roots, Fleet has carved out a signature sound built on traditional country storytelling, soulful vocals, and an eclectic upbringing shaped by everyone from Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson to Otis Redding and Marvin Gaye. Known for his powerhouse voice and grounded, truth-cutting lyricism, Fleet worked a string of hands-on jobs long before securing a record deal, an experience that still fuels his authenticity today.
A respected writer as well as performer, Fleet co-wrote “Man Made A Bar,” recorded by Morgan Wallen featuring Eric Church, and has continued to put his stamp on modern country with a growing catalog. His albums include Workin’ Hard (2019), Stack of Records (2021), Earned It (2023), featuring fan-favorite “Things I Take for Granted,” and his 2025 independent release, Hard Work & Holy Water.
DASHER is a brother–sister duo blending their Louisiana roots with the folk traditions of their Appalachian home in Black Mountain, NC. Raised on porch-light summers and tight church harmonies, Max and Laela craft songs that feel both hauntingly familiar and deeply personal.
This event is proudly sponsored by Maddox Insurance. Tickets range from $55-$65 plus tax and will go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 10A CT at DixiePAC.net or by calling the Box Office at 731.986.2100, M-F, 10-4P.
