Join the rangers from Paris Landing State Park at Camp Hazlewood as they hike a new trail on New Year’s Day for the annual ‘First Day Hike’! Meet at 9:30 a.m. at Camp Hazelwood.
The new trail is a little over a mile long through a pine forest and hardwoods. Those that would like to continue for an additional 1.5 miles can continue with the Ranger. The hike has small hills and inclines in various places with many rocks. Please wear appropriate hiking shoes, dress for cold weather and bring water to drink.
