A dozen Union City Elementary students from the 3rd grade and 12 more from the 4th grade were selected to attend Discovery Park of America last week as part of the school’s Discovery Kids program.
The honorees were chosen for the accolade for their good behavior, strong work ethic, and attendance for the 2nd nine weeks of the 2025-26 school year.
They were accompanied on the field trip by a trio of chaperones, including school guidance counselors Regena Lindsey and Rebecca Beachum, and bus driver Tammie Harris.
