Upon arrival, crews made entry into the structure and began fire suppression efforts. During interior operations, a ceiling collapsed, temporarily separating two firefighters. Mutual aid assistance was provided by Brighton Fire Department, Three Star Fire Department, Gilt Edge Fire Department, and Garland Fire Department.
Griggs said, “We also extend our appreciation to the Tipton County Sheriff’s Office and Constable Fisher for providing traffic control and scene support.
“Please keep our first responders in your thoughts and prayers as they recover. The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.”
