James H. “Jim” Muzzall, Jr., age 77, of Mansfield, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Eiffel Gardens of Paris. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Lance Winders officiating. Burial will follow the service in Memorial Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Javan Winders, Titus Winders, Silas Winders, Josh Grant, Hunter Oulman and Blake Morgan.

Visitation with the family is scheduled on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of the service.

James Howard Muzzall, Jr. was born November 27, 1948 in Paris, Tennessee to the late James H. Muzzall, Sr. and the late Mary Nell Hopper Muzzall. He married the love of his life, Vicky Santini Muzzall, on November 18, 1972 and was married 45 years before she preceded him in death on February 23, 2019. Jim is survived by his brother, Tellie (Brenda) Muzzall of Springville; niece, Brittany (Blake) Morgan; nephew, Hunter Oulman; great niece and nephew, Maryn and Max Morgan.

Besides his parents and wife, Jim is also preceded in death by his sister, Melissa Anne Muzzall Oulman.

Mr. Muzzall was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and frequently attended other churches in the area, as one service on Sunday was never enough for him. He proudly served in the United States Navy and later retired from the Naval Reserve and from teaching at the vocational school in Huntingdon. An avid car enthusiast, James spent many of his healthy years enjoying car shows with friends and his car club. He could often be found at swap meets and was a chocolate milkshake’s number one fan. Known by many names – James, Howie, Jim, or Muzz – he cherished time spent with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
