Springville, Tenn.–At 3:30pm on Saturday March 28th, Paris Landing Fire Department, Paris Fire Department, Puryear Fire Department, Henry County EMS, Henry County Sheriff’s officers and the Paris Board of Public Utilities were dispatched to 95 Workman Drive in Springville for a report of a garage on fire with the fire spreading to a home. Arriving units found a garage fully engulfed in flames. The fire had spread to an SUV in the driveway and to the double wide home nearby. The home, garage, and SUV were a total loss. A shed on another lot also received minor damage. The owner Paul Robinson saidd he had just left the residence when he received a call from a neighbor stating the garage was on fire. While the exact cause is under investigation it is believed to be accidental. There were no injuries. Paris Landing responded with 3 trucks and 8 firefighters, Paris responded with 3 trucks and 6 firefighters, Puryear responded with 1 truck and 4 firefighters. Units were on the scene for 2 1/2 hours.
