Henry Home Destroyed In Fire

Henry, Tenn.–A home in Henry was destroyed by fire Tuesday afternoon. No one was injured in the blaze.

The Henry Volunteer Fire was dispatched around 2:20 pm for the structure fire with extension into the vegetation on the 700 block of Mockingbird in Henry.

Firefighters arrived to find the house fully involved as well as fire in the grass and trees. Seven firefighters and two engines along with mutual aid from the city of Paris firefighters, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, the Forestry Services, and Henry County EMS worked seamlessly to get the fire put out.

Henry firefighters said, “We would also like to thank BPU for responding to make sure the power was safely disconnected from the structure. There was no one inside the house when the fire was reported and no injuries were reported during the incident.”
