
Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office and 24th Judicial Drug Task have executed two separate search warrants this week in Henry County, both related to drugs. Johnnie Smith is being held without bond, with charges to be enhanced since the search was conducted near Ogburn Park; and Teresa Shaw is being held on $500,000 bond, with more charges pending.
The first search warrant was executed on Monday, April 20, at 1006 Chickasaw Rd the home of Johnnie Smith. During the search of the home a felony amount of methamphetamine was located. Smith was charged with possession of schedule II with intent to sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation. These charges will be enhanced due to being a drug free zone near Ogburn Park. Smith is being held without bond.
The second search warrant was executed on Thursday, April 23, at 1760 Poplar Grove Rd. in Springville,at the home of Monroe and Teresa Shaw. During the search the officer found approximately 1/4 pound of meth, felony amount of cocaine, marijuana and one handgun. Teresa Shaw was charged with sale of schedule II. Shaw is being held on a $500,000.00 bond. This case is still under investigation and more charges are pending.
