Paris, Tenn.–After 23 years at the Henry County Family Resource Center, Judy (Goad) Hall is stepping down and retiring.
The Henry County School System has welcomed Kristen Hepner as the new Case Manager at the Family Resource Center. Hepner most recently has been the secretary at Lakewood School.
In a post on Facebook, Judy (Goad) Hall said, “After 23 wonderful years at the FRC and 29 with the Henry County School System, it is time for me to close this chapter and begin a new one called retirement at the end of June.”
She said, “Serving our families, helping children succeed in school, and supporting our community through the Family Resource Center has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. For 23 years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside families during both joyful and difficult times, and I will forever be grateful for the trust and friendships built along the way.
“Over the years, I have watched children grow, families overcome challenges, volunteers give so generously, and our community come together again and again to support one another. The memories made here will always hold a special place in my heart.
“To everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, volunteered beside me, attended our events, or simply followed along on this page — thank you. Your kindness and support have meant more than words can express.”
Hall said she welcomed Hepner in her new role. “I know she will bring compassion, dedication, and new ideas to this role, and I hope you will support and encourage her just as you have done for me throughout the years.”
She said, “While it is hard to say goodbye, I leave with a heart full of gratitude and confidence that the future of the center is bright. Helping families and children will always be at the heart of this work, and I know that mission will continue for many years to come with Darlene Russell at the helm.”
